Maine Fiddle Camp Typical Schedule
(Note that this is the schedule
for organized events - jams or other impromtu activities often
go on into the evening. Youths attending without parents or youths
staying in cabins must observe an 11pm curfew)

Friday
3:00-7:00 PM - Check-in - unload your stuff, meet cabin-mates
3:00-5:30 Swimming
5:30-6:30 - Snacks and Refreshments
7:00 - Staff Introduction and Staff Concert
8:00 - Youths in Cabins Meeting, Camper Music Jam and Dancing
10:30 - Resident Youths to Cabin
11:00 - Bedtime
Saturday
7:45-8:45 AM - Breakfast
9:00-10:15 - Workshop I
10:15-10:30 - Break
10:30-11:45 - Workshop II
12:00-1:00 - Lunch
1:00-2:00 - Camper Concert
2:00-3:15 - Workshop III
3:15-5:00 - Swim Time with Lifeguard
4:00-5:00 - Specialty workshops
5:00-6:30 - Dinner
7:00-8:30 - Staff Presentations
8:00-10:30 - Old Time Kitchen Breakdown (Everyone dance and fiddle)
Jam session in big tent
10:30 - Resident youths to cabins
Sunday
7:30-8:45 AM - Breakfast
9:00 - Sacred Fiddle Circle (Share your favorite hymn, folk song,
or reverent tune)
10:00-11:15 - Workshop IV
11:15-12:00 - Swim Time with Lifeguard
12:00-1:00 - Lunch
1:00-1:30 - Camp Cleanup
1:30-3:00 - Camper Concert
3:00 - Camp Closes 'til next year!

8:00- Breakfast
9:00-10:15- Workshop (with primary leader - same each day)
10:15-Break
10:30-11:45 Workshop (different teacher each day)
12:00-1:00 Lunch
1:00-Camper concert
2:00- Review with primary leader, practice, band workshops
3:30- Swim, relaxation
5:00-6:00- Specialty workshops
6:00-7:00 Dinner
7:00- 8:00- Staff Concerts
8:00-9:30- Jamming and Dancing
9:30-10:30 Coffeehouse
10:30 -Bedtime (resident youths to cabins)
